Flood victims in Calabar
metropolis have appealed to the Cross River Government and organisations to assist them with relief materials and financial support.

Archibong appealed to the Cross River Government and organisations to look into their plight and alleviate their sufferings.
Speaking after inspecting the flooded areas in Calabar South, Mr Aloysius Edet, described the incident as pathetic.
Edet, a Community Relations Officer in Calabar South Local Government Area, also called on the state government to assist the victims financially to help them recover some of the items they lost to the flood.
Also, in Calabar Municipality, residents appealed to the state government to find a permanent solution to flooding challenge.
